Naeem Mahmood’s BRASH YOUNG TURKS wins Best UK Movie at the 10th annual Movie Video & Screen Awards

Brash Young Turks, the stylish and bold debut feature from Award winning Director Naeem Mahmood has won Best UK Movie at the 10th annual Movie Video & Screen Awards, beating off stiff competition including Noel Clarke's Brotherhood.

The Movie Video & Screen Awards, affectionately known as the MVISAs took place at the ICC in Birmingham.

Brash Young Turks lead actor Paul Chiedozie also picked up an award for Best Emerging Talent. Produced by Trailblazer, a production company set up by young creatives, Brash Young Turks is a progressive, coming-of-age urban crime movie that tells a fast paced struggle of love, crime and power, against all odds.




It includes special appearances from Grime legend D Double E, Julian Glover CBE of Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Bond fame, former Mayor of London Boris Johnson and an array of new British talent.

Having been released in cinemas in the UK, Brash Young Turks is now available on Amazon Prime.
